The Leagues of Women Voters of Highland Park/Highwood and Lake Forest/Lake Bluff present a joint film festival honoring the centennial anniversary of the League of Women Voters, starting Saturday, January 25.

The first in the three-film series, “Iron-Jawed Angels,” will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 25, at Lake Forest Library. Sign up for free on the Library’s website/event calendar at www.lakeforestlibrary.org for this film event. You may still attend if you aren't registered, but we would like to have an idea of how many are coming.

The second film in the series is a showing of “The Suffragettes" at 1:30 pm on Sunday, January 26, at Highland Park Library. Registration is encouraged but not required, and you will receive a reminder. You can register here: www.hplibrary.org.  

The last film in the series is set for Sunday, February 2 - a 2:00 pm showing of “One Woman, One Vote” at Lake Forest Library. You may use this link to register: www.lakeforestlibrary.org.

These film showings are free and open to the public.
