Our upcoming and exciting climate change forum, "Post-Election Analysis: The Future of Climate Change Strategy in a New Administration," is taking place Saturday, November 12, 2016, from 4 to 5:30 pm in the Stuart Room at Gorton Community Center, 400 E. Illinois Road, Lake Forest.
Our distinguished panel features Tom Skilling, WGN-TV Meteorologist; Douglas Sisterson, Research Meteorologist with Argonne National Laboratory and Senior Manager for the US Department of Energy Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) Climate Research Facility; and attorney Mary Gade of Gade Environmental Group, LLC, and former Regional Administrator for the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), Region V.
In this educational forum, we look forward to learning how the speakers' professional disciplines of meteorology, climate change science, law, and public policy (and the findings and developments therein) impact our discussion and advocacy regarding climate change and, in turn, what the public can expect in a new administration.
Be sure to put the event on your calendar and attend! If you would like to volunteer on the day of the event, please contact Sharon Borg.
